Artist Biography

Hi Folks, we are a trio playing acoustic, foot tapping tunes, with vocal harmonies through a not too loud PA. No ten minute sit down dirges. We come from where they make wagons, hence Wagontown.The videos on You Tube are unplugged versions of some of our tunes and have been posted just to give an idea of what we're about.

We consist of Tel (Double Bass/Vocals/Harmonica), Stu (5-string Banjo/Guitar & vocals) and Steve (Guitar/Mandolin/Vocals).

Check out our varied setlist from Earl Scruggs/Duelling Banjos to Dubliners/Pogues/Beatles/Queen/Green Day/Motorhead/Tom Jones/Oasis/Red Hot Chili Peppers/ oh and Human by Killers..lol..all played in the electrifying Acoustic Banjo/ Mandolin style. We dont use backing tracks, or any other tech wizardry, what you see is what you get.

A big thanks to Wagon town who played last night at Ye olde Fighting Cocks, we combined it with our St Paddies night party, the place was Rocking and not to loud, I have 19 Bedrooms located near to the bar so noise is always an issue, However EVERY guest was down dancing and singing along to them.
